Mr.Versteeg has been offered and has accepted the position as the Assistant Principal at San Elijo Hills Elementary. Mr. Versteeg is currently a 3rd Grade this year at San Elijo Hills Elementary. This is his seventh year of teaching at SEES. Teaching is actually his second career. Mr Versteeg spent over 20 years in airline customer service management for both US Airways and United Airlines. He worked in New York, Baltimore, San Diego, and Orange County. His childhood dream was to become a teacher.
Mr. Versteeg received by Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, San Marcos. His specialization was in Child and Developmental Psychology. Mr Versteeg also received his teaching credential from California State University, San Marcos. Additional certifications include teaching English Language Learners and GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Development).
