My name is Stephanie, I live in Woodley’s Glen and next week on Thusday, October 15th at 10 a.m., I’m hosting a “Cardmaking for the Cure” event; 100% of the proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It will be right here in San Elijo Hills at the PepperTree Hills cafe, just next to the schools in the Town Center.
For $20, you can make eight cards and have coffee or tea. Beginning crafters are welcome! I’ll demonstrate some fun techniques for creating holiday and themed cards, using quality materials.
So if you’d love a fun morning out while expressing your creative side, join us for a great time! You’ll leave with eight unique cards to give to family and friends (a special keepsake in this electronic age) and will be contributing to charity at the same time! I need 25 participants to reach my goal of $500, and in these times I didn’t want to merely ask people for money, but plan something fun where participants also benefit instead!
