The problem started at San Elijo road and
Rancho Santa Fe. It was blocked all the way to Town Square at 3:45pm. Everyone was turning left and the light was only letting 10-14 cars turn per cycle. A police officer was needed earlier to allow more cars to turn left and avoid the backup. I was going against traffic up to SEH because Twin Oaks was blocked and I had to go all the way around to get back to my home before the evacuation.
It there was a real danger with the fire, it would have been a disaster.
