As of 11:30 pm (Pacific Time) the City of San Marcos has issued a notice of repopulation for some residential areas in the City of San Marcos, inviting residents in these designated areas to return home.
REPOPULATION AREAS:
Residents on the westside of Via Vera Cruz, including neighborhoods of Lake San Marcos and residences to the east up to Via Vera Cruz.
Entry points into the neighborhoods listed above will be through Rancho Santa Fe, from the southwest and Discovery Street to Via Vera Cruz from the north.
Mandatory Evacuations REMAIN in PLACE for these locations:
The neighborhoods of Discovery Hills, Discovery Meadows, San Elijo Hills, Oak Creek Ranch, Coronado Hills and residents living north and west of West Valley Parkway between Via Rancho Parkway and Highway 78.

Percent Contained: 10%
Structure Damage: 1 home in San Marcos and other 3 in San Diego County on the San Marcos border.
