New Attendance Area Meeting for San Elijo Hills Community

This Wednesday May 22nd from 6:30-8:00 pm at San Elijo Middle School, The District Office staff will be discussing the recent proposed attendance area changes that are being recommended to the SMUSD school board for approval on June 10th.

UPDATE-”It appears Channel 7 will NOT be airing the piece tonight. Greg Bledsoe is having to leave town to cover the tornadoes. “Should” air tomorrow (5.21.13)

The district has made available the attendance area maps that will be presented to the SMUSD Board on June 10th for approval.

San Elijo Hills Association Board of Directors Meeting: Thursday, June 6th

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Thursday, June 6th at 6:00PM at the San Elijo Hills Elementary School multi-purpose room. All homeowners are welcome to attend.

San Elijo Hills Summer Fiesta: Saturday, June 15th

It’s fiesta time! The sun is shining and the grills are sizzlin’! Come join us on
Saturday, June 15th from 1:00PM-4:00PM for a Summer Fiesta! The event will be held at the lower softball field of San Elijo Park.

Activities will include crafts, waterslides, a festive mariachi band and other fun surprises! Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and swim suits!

Traditional Mexican fare will be served, including tacos, rice, beans, dessert, and non-alcoholic margaritas!

This free event is for San Elijo Hills residents only. Please remember to bring a proof of residency to gain entrance into the event (i.e.: driver’s license with on-site address, utility bill, HOA statement, etc.). Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow you to enter the event without verifying residency. No guests will be permitted.

Movie Under the Stars- Part 1: Friday, June 21st

The San Elijo Hills Community Association is hosting a FREE showing of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax as part of our summer movie series!

Get ready to watch Ted encounter a grouchy forest creature (The Lorax) after venturing outside of his artificial city in search of a tree. Characters are voiced by Zac Efron, Danny DeVito, Taylor Swift, and many more!

The movie will be shown on Friday, June 21st at the lower softball field of San Elijo Park. Pre-show activities (including bounce houses, a sticky wall and more!) will begin at 6:00PM and the movie will start at sunset (around 8:00PM). Remember to bring your low-back beach chairs and blankets for lawn seating! A few awesome food trucks will be there and will have a variety of refreshments available for purchase.
