San Elijo Hills Store Director Vince Teclaw and his team are counting the days to the grand opening of their new store set for Wednesday, June 4, 5 a.m. at their 1571 San Elijo Road at Elfin Forest location.

“Premium Fresh and Healthy is all about surprising and delighting the customer,” emphasizes Teclaw. “And here at our San Elijo Hills store, we’ve gone one step further by adding exciting new features tailored to meet our customer’s unique shopping needs and preferences. And we’re especially thankful to our customers for their patience as the store was under construction. We know they’re going to love their new Albertsons!”

The San Elijo Hills Albertsons store is looking to ‘turn the dining room lights back on’ by offering powerful upgrades in key departments that are tailored exclusively for our residents,” says Teclaw.

Premium Fresh and Healthy amenities include an expanded premium fresh Butcher Block with new seafood tables to accentuate the great seafood on ice offerings. Other favorites include an inviting Bakery Department specializing in celebration cakes and confections perfect for every occasion. The Produce Department will feature an abundance of fruits and vegetables including organic. And speaking of organics, the store also features a Wild Harvest aisle considered a store-within-a-store focused on popular natural and organic products. Planning a party? The new San Elijo Albertsons will also include a wide selection of wines and spirits, especially favorite, local brands.

Start your day with a steaming cup of coffee or favorite chilled beverage at the in-store Starbucks. Customers looking for a quick and nourishing “pick me up” lunch can count on finding something nutritious and filling at the new Hot and Cold Soup Bar. Another satisfying option is a freshly made sandwich or salad from the Service Deli. Top off your meal with a spicy accent from the new Olive Bar.

If your recipe calls for a specialty spice or flavor not found in your pantry, chances are you’ll see it stocked in Albertsons Shop the World aisle which includes an assortment of international food seasonings.

Fresh also means counting on finding an excellent selection of seasonal blooms and plants perfect for home decoration and gift giving. The San Elijo Hills store includes a full Floral Dept. with a full-time floral designer.

Another exciting plus is the new Sav-On Pharmacy inside the store. Customers can drop off their prescriptions and have them filled by the end of their shopping trip!

The San Elijo Hills Albertsons will be open to serve the community Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to midnight. Sav-on Pharmacy hours will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  1. Yippee! Can’t wait….the only thing better is if they would call my teenage sons, who applied online, and they could get jobs there! We live right across the street.

    So excited!

  2. So glad that Albertson’s is opening! Its great to have a choice between this and Ralph’s.
