SAN ELIJO HILLS – A man was tied up and his car and money stolen during a home-invasion robbery early yesterday morning, sheriff’s officials said. Two men, one with a handgun, burst into the house on Caprise Drive just before 2 a.m. and later fled in the victim’s car. No other details were available. Hills Local thought this is important news story given the police chase that culminated in Crest View on Monday 10/16.

  • Hills Local,

Is the time in the “Crime Watch Report” incorrect? The report says 2am, but shortly after dropping the kids off around 8am I heard sirens and saw a helicopter. Was this the same incident? Do you know how they gained entrance to the house? Was it forced?

  • This crime map shows an incident at 1100 Caprise Drive, but the date is 09/29. Where there two incidents at this house? One on 09/29 and one on 10/16?
