Please join SDG&E® and PEAK Program representatives and
City Council member Chris Orlando at our energy-efficiency holiday booth.

Bring up to three (3) of your old strands of holiday lights and exchange them for up
to three strands of energy-efficient, multi-colored holiday lights (while supplies last).
LED holiday lights are cool to the touch (a reduced fire hazard) making them safer for
you and your family.

LED lights are also brighter, last up to 100 times longer than incandescent lights, and

provide up to 90% in energy savings!
See the difference for yourself – two decorated trees will be on display; one with LEDs

and the other with incandescent holiday lights.

Date: Friday, November 30, 2007
Time: 7 pm to 9 pm
Location: San Elijo Hills Towncenter (Located in the
Town Square across from the Visitor’s Center)
1215 San Elijo Road, San Marcos CA 92078

San Elijo Hills’ annual tree lighting event will take place and PEAK’s “Bulb Man” will be there to greet everyone!

SDG&E and the PEAK Program are pleased to announce our new collaboration with San Elijo Elementary School to teach students about energy conservation and energy efficiency
throughout the school year. For more information please visit http://www.peakstudents.org.

  1. If you’re planning on attending the tree lighting solely for exchanging your three strands of lights for LED lights, don’t bother going. I was just at the Towncenter and one of the event people told me that SDG&E has cancelled for tonight. She also said that they would be sending out a notice for a make-up date but she didn’t know when that would be. With my luck it will be the day after I put up my lights. 😉

  2. PS…my comment date does not seem to be adjusted for daylight savings time. (At the tone the time will be…7:22 and 30 seconds…beep)

  3. U still haven’t heard of when the new date will be. Does anybody have any info?
