Monday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 7 is Rideshare Week in San Marcos. During this week, the City encourages residents to learn more about how they can reduce traffic and save money on their commutes.
By using the San Diego Regional Commuting Assistance Program known as iCommute, residents can access information about the financial benefits of ridesharing, various programs available, and even compare the costs of various forms of transit on their commute.
This service also offers a trip tracker that logs individual trips and allows cost comparison; ridematch, which lets registered participants find carpool partners; and employee kits that assist in developing commuter benefit programs started.
