April 18, 2024

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season has come to a close and we have set our sights toward spring, when a blossoming of festivals and other outdoor activities commences. We are going to start things rolling in February with Museum Month. Entry fees to 40 museums are half off! Come spring, our calendar comes alive with many family-friendly events to partake in. April takes us to Fallbrook with their Avocado Festival on April 15 and to the Encinitas Street Faire on April 28 and 29. May begins with the Hullabaloo Music Festival on May 6 and ends with the Santee Street Fair on May 26. The KidsFest San Diego Festival is on June 9 and 10 at Liberty Station.

But until then, let’s not forget about these events that are always here for us to enjoy! Daily, weekly, and monthly – they run the gamut from art to science and from trains to games.

You probably already know about Target Free Second Sunday at the New Children’s Museum and even Saturday Crafts for Kids at Lakeshore Learning. So, how about these? P.S. You can find more online at SoCal Kids San Diego!
