Join the Country Fair committee

Are you are curious about what the Country Fair is all about? Come to the first planning meeting on Tuesday October 10th from 8:45a to 10:00a in the Conference Room. Returning and new members are welcome. It takes a big group of people to put together the Country Fair and all levels of help are greatly appreciated. Contact Kim Witt and Yolanda Monroe

Box Tops Contest

It’s contest time! Fill your October collection sheet with box tops
(sheets went home in last week’s Wed. env.), and have your child return them to his/her teacher by October 21st. The winning class gets extra recess time and the first ever Box Tops Trophy to display in their classroom. You can pick up extra collection sheets in the office, download them from the SEES website, or paste your box tops on any 8.5”X11” paper. Just make sure you post in multiples of 10, and don’t forget your name and teacher’s name so your child’s class gets credit. No staples or expired box tops will be counted. This year, our motto is $EE$ $OAR$ when we collect more! Together we can all collect more for our school so we can exceed our goal of $2,500! To find out about other opportunities, earn extra $$ for SEES, play games and more, go to the Box Tops website, www.btfe.com. Thank you for being a Box Tops Hero! Any questions, contact seesboxtops@gmail.com

Flu Shots = Paper

For those of you that plan to get a flu shot this year, please consider going to Albertson’s for it. For every flu shot given at the pharmacy, Albertson’s will donate a ream of paper to your school of choice.

Running Club is Back

The Running Club at SEES is a great weekly tradition. Students are encouraged to come and sign up to run, jog or walk every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning starting at 8:15 until the bell rings at 8:45. Weather permitting (If it is raining or the fields are wet, there is no running club). Look for the tables near the play structure next to the black top. All students and parents are welcome and encouraged to join. We have siblings, parents and even teachers who run. This is a great way to promote kids to be active before school starts in the morning. Each child receives a stamp on their running club card for every lap successfully completed. Four laps is approximately 1 mile. Students have multiple opportunities to earn prizes along the way. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this program, please contact Launa Cornell at launacornell@cox.net. Parents help stamp the students running cards
