New Date for Father/Daughter Dance
The Father/Daughter dance has been rescheduled to February 11th. For the first time, the dance will be held on a Saturday night, which will allow us to have a longer dance with three separate age groups, and to have it on the SEES campus instead of at the middle school. This year’s theme is “Once Upon a Time”. Be sure to mark your calendars (and your husband’s calendar!) so your daughter doesn’t miss this fun event

Signal Schoolhouse Way
You may have noticed that the signal has changed at the corner of Schoolhouse Way and San Elijo Road. There is now a right turn arrow, which will provide more safety for our students using the crosswalk.

Eagle Play Needs Your Help!
Eagle Play has been a long-standing lunchtime tradition at SEES. Eagle Play is a group of volunteers organized through a coordinator that provides structured activities twice a week during lunch. These structured activities provide an opportunity for our students to increase their physical activity, explore their imaginations, connect with other people and grow both emotionally and socially through team activities. We are looking for a coordinator to provide these activities to our students during their lunchtime and coordinate volunteers to support the program. The Eagle Play coordinator is a paid position whose responsibilities include planning and implementing lunchtime activities, in addition to recruiting and scheduling volunteers. If you love to play games and interact with students of all ages then Eagle Play is the program for you.
If you are interested in volunteering or coordinating the Eagle Play program, please contact Carolyn Kalicki at carolyn.kalicki@smusd.org
