She aced her SATs last year. And she’s sharing her notes.
Keziah Sonder Plattner, a sophomore at Stanford University and a 2010 graduate of Santa Fe Christian High School, isn’t resting on her high school laurels. After attaining top scores on her SAT, ACT, and AP tests, Ms. Plattner will be spending her first collegiate summer teaching Ivy League hopefuls how to succeed in testing and admissions processes. The San Elijo Hills resident was selected to teach this summer with Revolution Prep, an innovative test prep company founded in 2002. Plattner will be the head instructor for Revolution’s Ivy Insiders classroom courses and tutoring programs, which boast bigger SAT score improvements than any other program on the market: Between 200 and 300 points, on average.
“Since I just recently went through the SAT and college process, I want to share my insights and give students strategies that really helped me succeed on the exam,” said Ms. Plattner.
The course costs $599; private tutoring packages start at $999. Need-based financial aid and discounts are available. Keziah was co-valedictorian of her senior class at Santa Fe Christian High School and was the recipient of the Banatao Engineering Scholarship. In high school, Keziah was editor of her school newspaper and co-captain of Academic Team. She currently studies Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford.
Next week, Plattner will be holding a free SAT workshop for parents and students on June 21 (6 PM to 8 PM), as well as a free SAT practice exam on June 22 (10 AM to 2 PM). They will be held at Valley Bible Church, located at 1609 Capalina Road, San Marcos, CA 92069. Both are open to the public.
