San Marcos residents invited to weigh in on community housing needs
Block Grant Survey
The City of San Marcos needs resident input on how federal funds are invested within the community and invites you to participate in a short survey on community housing needs.

Each year, the City of San Marcos is eligible to receive approximately $500,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds can be used for housing and community development projects that benefit low- to moderate-income residents.

Past projects that have been supported by CDBG funds in San Marcos include the construction of Buelow Park, new storm drains on Chinaberry Lane, the Marcos Street pedestrian crossing, new restrooms at Bradley Park and the new Connors Park currently under construction.

To participate in the survey, please visit www.san-marcos.net/CDBGsurvey and submit your feedback no later than Sunday, March 30.
