In our latest video, Dr. Sarah Lindback explains the benefits of following the program that includes 5 fruits and vegetables per day, 2 hours or less of screen time, 1 hour per day of physical activity and 0 sugary beverages. Kids and heat

Summer may be over and the kids are back in school, but for San Diego, we can expect at least another month of hot, sunny days. In a recent blog post, Dr. Jaime Friedman explains that kids are actually more vulnerable to heat-related illnesses than adults. Parents of student athletes and all active children should learn about the signs, symptoms and how to treat heat-related conditions.
