SAN ELIJO HILLS – A man was tied up and his car and money stolen during a home-invasion robbery early yesterday morning, sheriff’s officials said. Two men, one with a handgun, burst into the house on Caprise Drive just before 2 a.m. and later fled in the victim’s car. No other details were available. Hills Local thought this is important news story given the police chase that culminated in Crest View on Monday 10/16.

On Monday a bald man dressed in black was running in and around Brightwood and Clifftop in Crest View. Cop cars and helicopter in pursuit. Hills Local was told rumor that pursuit started in Mariner’s Landing when resident spotted man in her car. Hills Local is looking for confirmation & details

    Is the time in the “Crime Watch Report” incorrect? The report says 2am, but shortly after dropping the kids off around 8am I heard sirens and saw a helicopter. Was this the same incident? Do you know how they gained entrance to the house? Was it forced?
