SAN MARCOS – New schools open with good-looking exteriors, but usually don’t come with a complete stock of computer software, art supplies or musical instruments. Buying these wish-list items requires raising money. So the Parent Teacher Organization at San Elijo Elementary School, which opened in August, has organized a major spring fundraiser.
A Mardi Gras-themed evening of live jazz, dancing and dinner is scheduled March 10. About 60 tickets are still available for $60 each. Participants also get $100 of fake money to play at the casino tables. Click To Read the Entire UT Article
