A small brush fire broke out around 3:20 PM Monday west of Morgan’s Corner and south of Cedar Crossing in the open space brush. Thanks to quick action from the local fire departments in the air and on the ground the fire was out in minutes.

The San Marcos Fire Departments report has concluded that the fire was started by fire crackers
