This past weekend San Elijo Life rode to the top of Double Peak Drive to see the new road now paved to the top; but still behind a locked gate. Here are some pictures taken with a camera phone to give you the idea of what is going up top, at the site for 200-acre Double Peak Regional Park, which is being built by San Elijo Hills Development. Double Peak Park will feature an amphitheater, trails and areas for adventure play, picnics and views. The park was reported to open Summer of 2008.

Please send directions to Double Peak Park from 15 North. Thanks.
Yes, we’re wondering the same thing. We went out to “the area” but could NOT find it. I see NO DIRECTIONS on this website either? Anyone know?
From I-15, take 78 West, exit Twin Oaks Valley Road (turn left heading up the hills). Make a Right onto Double Peak road and just keep heading up the hill to the top. The park area is NOW OPEN!
