San Marcos, CA – The City of San Marcos is providing free sand bags and sand for
residents throughout the weekend in preparation of the forecasted rainstorm. Sand bags and sand are available at the City’s public works yard, 201 Mata Way in San Marcos. Residents must fill the sand bags themselves; shovels are available at the yard. Residents are advised to drive slowly and cautiously during this time and to check radio and TV stations for updates on the rainstorm.
