San Marcos Alive
The City of San Marcos 11th Annual San Marcos Alive (Celebration of the Arts Street Fair) will take place on Sunday, October 5th from 10 AM – 4:00 PM at the Civic Center and on San Marcos Blvd. between Mission Rd and Rancheros. The City will be spreading the word that art is for everyone with the invitation to shop at vendor booths, view art demonstrations, and participate in over 20 hand’s on art projects. Entertainment will include a number of live bands as well as performances by local community groups. This year’s event will also feature games and free activities for children. Breakfast with the Littlest Pumpkin
Bring the family and dress in your favorite Halloween costume to have a pancake breakfast with the “Littlest Pumpkin” on Saturday, October 18th 7:30 – 11AM. Bring your quarters for fun carnival games geared toward preschool/elementary ages! Breakfast with the Littlest Pumpkin is a fundraiser for the City of San Marcos Raggedy Ann & Andy Preschoolers Program. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children and can be purchased in advance or at the door at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. Breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage and orange juice or coffee.
