San Marcos, CA – In coordination with planned slurry seal road work, two Highway 78 off ramps in San Marcos will be closed this weekend. The westbound Highway 78 off ramp at Twin Oaks Valley Road will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14 from 5 am to 2 pm. The eastbound on and off ramps at Rancho Santa Fe Road will be closed in both directions on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 5 am to 2 pm. Detour routes will be provided. Some final slurry seal work will also take place during this time on San Marcos Boulevard at Grand Avenue. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in this area. Some minor delays may be experienced. The City appreciates motorists’ patience during this time as it works to improve the road way in this area.
