SAN MARCOS – The City of San Marcos Family Enrichment Program (FEP) will host two special events this month in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving bingo will be played on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 pm at the Wood House, 1148 Rock Springs Road. The event is $3 per person plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Space is limited and participants must be registered by Tuesday, Nov. 18. The first person to call bingo will win various Thanksgiving dinner items like cranberries and supplies needed to make green bean casserole. The grand prize winner will receive a turkey. Everyone will go home a winner. Families will join together to make pumpkin pies on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7 pm at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. Cost for this event is $3 per pie plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. The FEP brings families together through arts, crafts, cooking and special events.
