Roads near San Marcos Creek may close during rainstorm
Bent Avenue, Via Vera Cruz and Discovery Street may be affected

San Marcos street closures are expected along portions of S. Bent Avenue, Via Vera Cruz and Discovery Street in the coming days due to forecasted heavy rains.
If needed, streets will be closed in the following order:
1. S. Bent Avenue between Discovery Street and San Marcos Blvd.
2. Via Vera Cruz between Discovery Street and San Marcos Blvd.
3. Discovery Street between Via Vera Cruz and S. Bent
All closures will be clearly marked and alternate routes will be provided. Motorists must abide by all posted barricades and direction given by City personnel in order to ensure the public’s safety.
