The update to the City of San Marcos General Plan is steadily progressing.
The General Plan website has been updated to provide information on the next steps in the General Plan update process.
In addition, the Guiding Themes document is now posted. This document contains a summary of public workshop series #1, held in December 2009, and the community telephone survey conducted in November 2009. The Guiding Themes set the direction of the General Plan update.
Public workshop series #2 will be held in April 2010. The focus of this workshop series will be to present land use, mobility, and overall sustainability model results and alternatives.
