The track workouts are back.
If you have taken some time off, are out of running shape, are training for a spring or summer race (Rock N Roll, Carlsbad 5000, etc.), or you simply want to get a little faster and stronger and run more efficiently with less effort, then join us on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM at the San Elijo Middle School track.
We will be starting this series very gently, because there is no better way to get injured than doing too much speed work too soon. For the first few weeks we will focus on drills, strength and proper form, doing some slow intervals and leaving enough time for a nice cool down and stretch.
We welcome all levels and abilities (from 5 to 15 min. milers), and this will be a great chance to run at your own pace without fear of getting dropped or going too slow. These workouts will be geared toward your individual level of fitness and will be beneficial for all levels of runners.
