Keeping Kids Safe in San Elijo Hills
DATE: TUESDAY, APRIL 13TH
TIME: 7:00 – 9:00 PM
LOCATION: SAN ELIJO MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM
In response to the recent events of Chelsea King and Amber Dubois, a group of concerned San Elijo Hills parents and community leaders have teamed up. The group is brainstorming ideas and formulating a proactive plan to keep kids safe in San Elijo Hills.
The evening of April 13th will include topics like:
Stranger danger
Self-defense
Preparing yourself & your children for a school lock-down
Safety on the trails
Implementing a town danger alert system
There will be a break-out session for you to participate
There will be representatives from the City of San Marcos and the Sheriff’s Department, as well as both the San Elijo Middle School and San Elijo Elementary School.
Is the intent to discuss what we can do or is this just an “outreach” program?
Who is behind it?
