San Elijo Hills Foodie Fest & Tree Lighting-December 3, 2010
The San Elijo Hills Town Square will be surrounded by 20 of the finest gourmet food trucks from Southern California at the Foodie Fest & Tree Lighting, Friday, Dec. 3. The trucks will be serving local beach food and specialties from around the world, including Singapore street hawker food, Middle Eastern kabobs, fried chicken à la française, barbecue, and lots of sweet treats. The trucks will be selling their tasty wares from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Prices range from approximately $3 to $10 cash. (Most trucks don’t take credit.) Holiday festivities include crafts for kids throughout the evening and the annual tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. The community festivities are open to the public at no charge.
