The City of San Marcos will be hosting a gourmet food truck festival in conjunction with Santa’s Magical Village and Tree Lighting at the San Marcos Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Drive on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 3 to 8 pm and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Food trucks including “Mangia, Mangia,” “Bitchin’ Burgers,” “SD Street Eats,” “Flippin’ Pizza” and the “Pierogi Truck” will be offering a wide variety of international entrees and desserts at the event on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The event will also feature an indoor holiday boutique as well as free activities for children including ornament making, sand art, candle creation and more! Holiday entertainment will be featured throughout the weekend. Food will be available for purchase on both days.
The lighting of the San Marcos holiday tree will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 pm. Santa Claus will have the honor of climbing to the top of the tree and turning on the thousands of twinkling lights. Entertainment for the tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm.
