San Marcos City Hall will be closed from Friday, December 23 through Friday, December 30 as a cost-savings measure. Officials estimate the closure will save the city around $180,000 in personnel and energy costs.
Essential city services such as law enforcement and fire protection will remain operational during this time. There will also be a limited amount of public works staff on-hand as well as on-call staff available for emergencies.
If residents have a non-emergency, non-life threatening issue during the closure, they may call the City Hall after-hours number at (760) 752-7550.
Otherwise, services at City Hall will resume on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 7:30 am.
