The City of San Marcos will begin replacing lodge pole rails along North Twin Oaks Valley Road from Windy Way to Cassou Road on Monday, March 26, 2012. The existing horizontal lodge pole railings will be replaced with natural-dyed rope railings.
The project is scheduled to be complete by Friday, April 13, 2012.
Work will primarily take place on the trail-side of the railing and impacts on vehicular traffic are not expected. However, there may be some impacts on trail usage during construction. Signage will be posted in the immediate area of construction and trail users will be directed as needed.
