The San Marcos Farmers’ Market and Curbside Bites are teaming up to bring a regular food truck round-up to the North County community every Wednesday from 4-7. Gourmet food trucks circle the bottom half of the market to offer delicious and diverse dinner options.
“I love the food trucks coming on Wednesdays. It adds a whole new feel to the market. With the live music and so many dinner options people stay and hang out,” says Brandon Higa, owner of Cali Couture Boutique.
Among the line-up of food trucks who participate is Crepes Bonaparte, which was featured on the Food Network as a contestant on The Great Food Truck Race in 2011. New York on Rye and Mangia Mangia, two of our most popular vendors, are among Yelp’s highest rated trucks in San Diego. Each week’s line up of trucks can be found at http://www.curbsidebites.com/
The San Marcos Farmer’s Market is open twice each week: Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is located on the California State University San Marcos campus at 333. S. Twin Oaks Valley Road. Vendors include local produce, honey, sauces and spreads, boutique clothing and accessories, baked goods and more. Free parking is available in Lot B during market hours.
Curbside Bites is a gourmet food truck booking service with over 250 individually owned gourmet food trucks in Southern California in their network.
