Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Farmers’ Market
The San Marcos Farmers’ Market will honor local moms this Sunday, May 12 with free gifts and special discounts. The first 160 mothers who arrive at the Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.will receive a free potted plant. All moms will receive special coupon booklets with additional gifts and discounts. The Farmer’s Market is he! ld on the Cal State San Marcos Campus, on the corner of Twin Oaks Vall ey Road and Craven Road.
This free event will feature fresh San Diego grown produce, diverse hot food vendors, grass-fed beef, baked goods, gourmet spreads and specialty foods to wow the taste buds. There will be live music entertainment by Elijah Gutierrez, a local guitar player and singer. Other vendors at the market will include handcrafted jewelry, clothing, accessories, home items and health and beauty products; perfect for last minute gift shopping.
The San Marcos Farmers’ Market has been operating since 2009 and runs on Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays feature a food truck round-up with a variety of food trucks each week.
