San Elijo Hills Annual Tree Lighting Event: TONIGHT Friday, December 6th
Fa la la la la la la la la! Our Annual Tree Lighting event will light up the Town Square on Friday, December 6th from 6:30PM-8:30PM. There will be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy! Dickens-style carolers will be filling the air with some familiar holiday tunes, festive elves will be making balloon animals and other creations, and Santa will even make a special trip from the North Pole! The schedule for the night is as follows:
6:30PM-8:30PM: Carolers, Santa, cookies, and elf balloon artists will provide the entertainment! Complimentary hot chocolate, cider and cookies will be served. A few awesome food trucks will be there and will have a variety of refreshments available for purchase. Also, A Colorful Universe will have an ornament making station at the event with a variety of items to choose from. Please bring $5.00 cash if you wish to participate and create your own special craft!
7:00PM: The tree will be lit and will provide the perfect backdrop for some holiday photos!
7:15PM-7:45PM: A toy soldier will take the stage and entertain everyone young and old with a rib-tickling magic show!
We hope this event will kick off a delightful holiday season for you and your family as well as a very Happy New Year! For more information, feel free to contact Christine Hurdle at [email protected] or call (760) 798-9015.
This year’s Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, December 9th at 6:00PM at the San Elijo Elementary School multipurpose room. All homeowners are welcome to attend the meeting as well. Every Neighborhood Representative is required to come to the meeting so that their ballots may be counted for their neighborhood.
Thank you all in advance for your participation in this process for our community!
Assessment Holiday
Thanks to careful fiscal management and a healthy cash position, the Board of Directors has approved an assessment holiday for the month of December. Homeowners will not be charged Master Association assessments of $82 for December. Any payments received will be applied to current account balances and/or will be reflected as a credit towards future charges. Assessments will resume in January. Please note: if you live in a sub-association (Belmont, Creekside Cottages, Morgan’s Corner, Springfield, WestRidge), or you reside in a cost center (Westcliffe, Promontory Ridge, Saverne/Azure), you will still be responsible for the additional monthly assessment associated with your neighborhood.
Holiday Closures
The Visitor’s Center will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th, Wednesday, December 25th & Wednesday, January 1st.
Walters Management will also have a modified holiday schedule. Please refer to your December statement for specific dates.
We wish you happy and healthy holidays!
