Following is a list of important announcements and upcoming events for San Elijo Hills Association (HOA):
Movie Under the Stars Part 1: Friday, June 13th
The San Elijo Hills Community Association is hosting a FREE showing of Pixar’s Monsters University (rated G) as part of our summer movie series!
“Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) and James P. Sullivan (voice of John Goodman) are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”
The movie will be shown on Friday, June 13th at the lower softball field of San Elijo Park. Pre-show activities (including bounce houses, a sticky wall and more!) will begin at 6:00PM and the movie will start at sunset (around 8:00PM). Remember to bring your low-back beach chairs and blankets for lawn seating! A few awesome food trucks will be there and will have a variety of refreshments available for purchase.
For more information, feel free to contact Christine Cruz at [email protected] or call (760) 798-9015.

HOA Website Improvements
If you haven’t yet noticed, www.sanelijohills.net has undergone a virtual facelift! You can now add your mobile phone number to receive important text updates from the HOA. To do so, you must first login and select “User Profile”. From there you can add your mobile number and select your mobile carrier from the drop-down menu. Lastly, don’t forget to check the box at the bottom that says, “add me to the Association’s mass text blast list”. Voila!
*Please note, this text-blast feature is not to be utilized in place of the Alert San Diego registration system.*
Curbing Your Pet
The HOA receives numerous complaints regarding residents failing to curb their dogs in the community. Please not that it is county ordinance that you must curb your pet.
It is a public offense for any person to allow a dog in his or her custody to defecate or to urinate on any property other than that of the owner or person having control of the dog. Persons having control of a dog are required to restrain or control the animal so that it urinates or defecates only in the street gutters, and to immediately remove any feces to a proper receptacle (SDCC Section 62.670).
Town Center Damage
Unfortunately, the Town Center area has suffered damages as a result of some vandalism. The following damages have recently occurred:
-Benches have been broken.
-Fountain has been filled with soap which required a complete draining and cleaning service.
-Tree limbs have been snapped.
Please remind all members of your household to treat the San Elijo Hills Town Square with respect. The cost to make these repairs comes from your HOA dues so everyone is financially impacted.
*Since 2006 www.SanElijoLife.com provides community news, photos, videos, and a directory of resources for residents of San Elijo Hills. The site is independent from the developer and the HOA and is run by local homeowners.
