Curbing Your Pet
Thank you everyone for your continued efforts at curbing your pets. Please continue to be diligent as this can be a health & safety hazard as well as major community annoyance. Please also remember when picking up after your dog that you should NOT dispose of the waste in your neighbor’s trash can. Please use your own or one of the several designated doggie stations throughout the community.
Summer Time Shenanigans
Unfortunately, when school is out for summer there seems to be a rise in community complaints about children’s behavior. Please remind your children of the following:
-Always wear a helmet while skateboarding, bike riding and rollerblading.
-Do not doorbell ditch your neighbors.
-Town Square vandalism is costly to all community members so please treat the area kindly.
-Please do not play in the streets or attempt “dare-devil” feats on the steep hills in the community. These activities are dangerous to children, drivers and other pedestrians.
-Please stay clear of areas that are flagged off due to construction, wet paint or new concrete. These areas are temporarily “off-limits” for safety reasons as well as to ensure the repair cures property. Recently the HOA repaired a sidewalk that was vandalized before the concrete cured. This resulted the HOA having to complete the job twice.
And a reminder to the adults in the community:
-Please be extra cautious when driving through the community.
-It is best to take concerns about a child directly to the parents before involving the HOA.
Thank you everyone and we look forward to an awesome summer in San Elijo Hills!
