Questhaven Park Upgrade Project: Update
We hope that everyone is as excited about the new park upgrades as we are! Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project is taking longer than originally anticipated. Our new completion date as provided by our contractors is now September 1st. We understand that the delay is disappointing to our residents and we appreciate your cooperation as we continue to have this project completed in as timely of a matter as possible. We will continue to keep the community updated if there are any changes in the timeline.

HOA Reminders
-Please do not burn wood in outdoor fire pits or barbeques. Not only is this activity prohibited in the HOA’s Rules & Regulations, but it is also a fire danger. Please burn natural gas only.
-Please remind your children that toilet papering and egging houses is considered vandalism and is not appreciated by your neighbors.
-Several residents have expressed concerns regarding unleashed dogs on our trails and in Questhaven Park. For the safety of everyone (including other dogs), please keep your dog on a controlled leash of no more than 6 feet in length at all times when in the common area.

Thank you for bringing up the unleashed dog issue. I have been walking my dog and run into others whose dogs are unleashed. When I tighten up my dogs lead their comment is always “don’t worry.. My dog is friendly”… Well that is fine and dandy but my dog is not. My dog does not do well with other dogs.
What dog owners who let their dogs walk off leash is that not all dogs are friendly and it is not fair to those of us being responsible when your dog comes up to ours and a dog fight happens (thankfully it hasn’t ever come to this with my dog, but it could). Please don’t be naive and think that all dogs love each other.
For the safety of yourself, your dog, my dog, and myself… There is a reason for leash laws, not just to ruin the fun.
Save the off leash stuff for designated “off leash areas” and for walks way out where there are no other dogs or people around. Thank you
WALK YOUR MEAN DOG IN THE HILLS, THATS WHAT THERE HERE FOR!!!
Why can’t all you crazy HOA and transplants from other states come to realize California is relaxed!!! Dogs are part of family here as well as FUN…. if YOU don’t like it MOVE BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!! San elijo is so full of snobby, rude, noisy, crazy people for the most part, other than those who grew up in the ENCINITAS, CARLSBAD, or other local areas!!!! PLEASE find something better to do with your time rather than constantly complaining, and looking for things to feel so superior about. houses prices are cheap out in san elijo your no different than anyone else.REALIZE THIS BEFORE YOU THE HOA AND SNOBBY HOMEOWNERS RUIN A PLACE THAT COULD BE FUN AND REAL!!!!!!
Why Lisa is insulting people from SEH and the HOA?
From her comment, She is the one that seems to be “SNOBBY” and “crazy” and “rude”…
If people from ENCINITAS and CARLSBAD are so superior, she should stay there with them!
To Lisa: although your point of view is as valid as anyone else’s, your aggressive comments seem to be coming from somewhere other than the issues at hand… if you are so unhappy with the people living here and the community, why live here? And those residents who are obeying the HOA rules, well, they are just obeying the rules. If you don’t want to obey them, then you shouldn’t have committed to living in an HOA in the first place…
