The City of San Marcos will lead a hike of the Sunset Trail and Lake San Marcos Overlook
Saturday, October 4 | 9 am to noon (sign-in at 8:30 am) | FREE
An easy 3-mile hike will explore the trails north and west of San Elijo Park including Sunset, Old Creek Ranch and Canyon Trails. A more challenging 8-mile hike with 1600’ of elevation gain will ascend to the Ridgeline Trail and Double Peak and descend onto Double Peak Road, Gnatcatcher and Make A Wish trails. Meeting location: San Elijo Park/Recreation Center, 1105 Elfin Forest Road.
