CSUSM begins work on sports center
CSUSM President Karen Haynes joined administrators and athletes at the university Monday to celebrate the ground-breaking of the campus’ $11.5 million sports center, which is scheduled to open in August 2016. The 25,000-square-foot center, paid for through student fees, will give a true home court for the men’s and women’s basketball teams and the women’s volleyball team.
