Short Term Rentals

We have received an increase in concerns regarding short term rentals such as on Airbnb. Pursuant to section 8.2 Rental of Dwelling in the Association’s governing documents, No owner may lease such Owner’s Lot or improvement thereon for hotel, motel or transient purposes. Any lease which is either for a period of fewer than 30 days or pursuant to which the lessor provides any services normally associated with a hotel shall be deemed to be for transient purposes. Please be respectful of your neighborhood and refrain from participating. The Association does periodically verify on these sites and action will be taken accordingly.

We appreciate your efforts!

Noise

If you are an early riser, be mindful of your night-owl neighbors who enjoy sleeping in. Also, be kind to your neighbors whose job or family responsibilities mean they get up early every day. Remember, noise at any time of the day is illegal if it is considered a nuisance by your neighbors and could result in hefty fines with the City. The City of San Marcos quiet hours are between 10 pm to 7 am on weekdays and 11 pm to 7 am on weekends.

Annual Elections

Voting Day is ahead of us here in San Elijo Hills!

Neighborhood Representatives are required to attend to the meeting to ensure quorum is established and the votes from their neighborhood are counted.
