Spooky Movie in the Town Square & Costume Contest

There’s Mischief Brewing in the Hills! The world’s only hotel for monsters is now open for humans, so hurry up – if you dare! Join us on Friday, October 26th for a free showing of Hotel Transylvania in the Town Square! A Fangtastic DJ will play Halloween hits–you will be sure to have a Howlin’ good time. Dress up the whole family for our costume contest! Only friendly ghosts and goblins welcome. There will be 5 categories: Up to 5 years old, 6 to 12 years, 12-17 years, 18+ (that’s you mom and dad) and friendly on-leash pets! It will be so cute it’s scary! The music and costume contest will begin at 6 pm, and the movie will start at approximately 7 pm. Remember to bring your low-back beach chairs and blankets for lawn seating. Turkey Classic

Save the Date! The 16th Annual Neighborhood Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 24th.  The San Elijo Hills Foundation is starting to plan this year’s Turkey Classic Golf Tournament and is looking for volunteers and event sponsors. Save the Date-Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting

Let it snow! This year’s annual tree lighting is becoming a winter wonderland! Please join us for this long standing tradition in the Town Square Park on Friday, December 7th. Festivities will run from 6:00 PM-8:30 PM with the tree lighting at 7:00 PM. Don’t forget your cameras for a photo op with special visitors from the North Pole!

2018 HOA Candidate Statements

It was brought to our attention that with the recent ballot mailing for the Annual Neighborhood elections, that several of the candidate statements were printed or presented incorrectly. We sincerely apologize for that error and any confusion.  As a result the Board of Directors has directed us to resend (by way of this email) the statements for all the candidates running for the Master Board of Directors.  As a reminder, there are three positions open in this election each for a two-year term, with four candidates running. The candidates are as follows:

• Laura Fratilla-Incumbent
• Chris Larson
• Michael Quinn-Incumbent
• Lindsey Bonner-Smith (Please note Ms. Bonner-Smith appears as “Lindsey Smith” on your ballots)

Balloting is open until 10:00 AM on November 15th.  To be counted, ballots must be received in the mail by the Inspector of Elections by November 15th. Ballots may also be dropped off to the onsite office at 1277 San Elijo Road no later than 8:30 AM on November 15th.  Please note that once submitted ballots are irrevocable.
