  • Today is Sunday, October 12, 2008. I woke up this morning around 5:30 AM with my one year old daughter and found our downstairs house door open. The police came out and found nothing, but he stated that there has been metal theives and Tweekers in this area and they take an opportunity they can. I think everyone in their individual areas need to form a neighborhood watch to help everyone secure their areas. We are in Venzano where the homes are not completed which brings more crime over to this area. Be on the alert and keep all doors and windows locked and closed.

  • Yesterday, Sunday October12th we woke up to our alarm system being trip in our guest room. The window had been slightly jarred from the alarm connectors at 5:45am. After searching the perimeter and the Sheriff’s office being notified nothing was found to be disturbed. I thought it was a bit odd that the alarm would set off even though we had a bit of santa ana’s it certainly wasn’t strong enough to jar a double pained sliding window. I thought it was a bit odd, and we’re not to far down the hill.
