Double Peak Park amenities being constructed now by San Elijo Hills Development Company:
- Ranger residence
- 60 parking spaces
- Covered picnic area
- Playground
- Rock climbing area for kids
- Amphitheatre
- Informational Kiosk, with maps
- This will be the highest point in The City San Marcos at 1,644 feet
- Primitive campground (have had trouble with vandalism during construction)
- Equestrian trail staging area
- Ready to build amphitheater in May 08 and should take 4-6 months
- Potential park opening at November or December 1st of 2008
