JUST FIVE DAYS TO GO

Below you will find all the updated info for the upcoming 13th Annual Belgian Waffle Ride California, which will take place at North City in San Marcos on April 27 – 28. Race day is Sunday!

Note: All three events will start at 7am on Sunday in one big wave. One Love.

The professional field for this year is incredibly deep with the men’s leaders of the Tripel Crown coming to race against former World Road Champion, 2023 fourth place finisher at the UCI Gravel World Championships, and Canyon rider with the Movistar Team Gravel Squad, Alejandro Valverde. You can also ride with him and other Canyon pros at the Canyon Showroom on Friday!

On the women’s side, another deep international field is coming to take on Sofia Gomez Villafane, who won the first two stops of the Tripel Crown.

Trail Closures

April 28 the Ridgeline Trailhead and Double Peak Park will be closed to the public for the Belgian Whaffle ride. The 1.56-mile section of the Ridgeline trail between Double Peak Drive and Ridgeline Trailhead will be restricted to event participants only.
All are welcome to walk or hike up to Double Peak Park via Double Peak Drive through the pedestrian gates to cheer on riders who will be suffering on their way to the top. Feel free to partake in the fun at the North City Venue which will feature Waffles, Belgian Ale, and of course bicycles at the expo.
